Inception

So my buddies and I went to see Inception last night.

And I have to say, it was fantastic. I had no idea what the movie was about going into it - I'd seen the trailer before, but it hadn't looked good at the time and I quickly forgot about it. For sort of an action/adventure movie, I was surprised that it actually made me think so much. Some of my friends told me they kept getting lost or couldn't keep up, but I think that was just laziness on their part. Granted, there was a lot going on so I'm sure I missed a few subtle things here and there, but overall I knew exactly what was happening throughout the entire film.

Another surprise for me was Leonardo DiCaprio. I've never really been a fan of his, but to be fair, the only movie I distinctly remember him from is Titanic, and the last time I saw that I was still a child. His acting was spot on here, as was the rest of the cast's.

The end of the movie was a tad frustrating, though. It was GOOD, but I can't stand open endings. I prefer my movies with a little more closure, kthx. Even so, the rest of the movie makes up for it completely. I won't say too much more for those of you who haven't seen it, because I think it's best to go in not knowing too much about these kinds of movies. That way you actually have to participate in trying to figure out what's going on, right?

Long story short: If you haven't seen it, go watch it! Right now!
